Middlebury Student Athlete Signs National Letter of Intent

Two local athletes will play Division 1 girl's soccer.

 

Casey Hutchinson of Middlebury, a student at Pomperaug High School, signed a letter of intent to play collegiate athletics earlier this month.

Hutchinson will be attending and playing soccer for Quinnipiac University.

Taylor Fleming of Southbury, also signed a letter of intent this month. She will be attending and playing soccer for Marshall University.

Shannon Larkin from Burlington, a Lewis Mills high school senior, also signed a letter of intent. She will be attending and playing soccer for Division 1 at Quinnipiac University.

Both Marshall and Quinnipiac have Division 1 athletic programs. Hutchison and Fleming will begin their collegiate careers in the fall of 2012.

Outside of PHS, both athletes play for CFC United Premier, coached by Westhill High School’s Dave Flower.
