Gayle Carr, Democratic Candidate for the Connecticut House Representatives District 66

Coffee and Conversation was held on 7/23/16, at the Flour Garden Bakery in Woodbury, with Gayle Carr Democratic Candidate for the 66th.

Turnout was good, the conversation was interesting, and the coffee was terrific at Democratic candidate Gayle Carr's "Coffee and Conversation" meeting last weekend, according to campaign officials.

"This is an exciting election cycle," Carr said, "and it is stirring interest not only in the presidential campaign, but also local campaigns" like hers, she said. "People are concerned about the problems with the state budget, education, and the stagnation of Connecticut's economy. They want to know that I will be fighting for them in Hartford."

Carr, Democratic candidate for the 66th District, is no stranger to advocacy. She is a family attorney, working on behalf of spouses, parents and children in our legal system. She is also serving her second term on the Litchfield Board of Education, where she serves as the Chairperson of the Policy Committee.
