CT POPS! Family Spring Concert

CT POPS! will present their annual family spring concert, Rhapsody in Blue and Music of Other Colors, on Sunday May 3, 2015 at 3 PM on the Mainstage Theater at Naugatuck Valley Community College 750 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. Admission is free. The concert will provide a colorful tour of music across many genres and will include traditional and popular tunes, providing an afternoon of entertainment for all ages. The highlight of the concert will be Gershwin’s famous Rhapsody in Blue, featuring Mr. Chris Dabbo, instructor of piano at NVCC, as piano soloist. There will also be hoop dancers, opportunities for children to participate on stage, and an art show in collaboration with the college art department and Child Development Center. CT POPS! is under the direction of Dr. Andrew Ardizzoia, instructor of music at NVCC.
