Decision Reached On Dollar General Store Application In Woodbury: Report
The proposal calls for the construction of a nearly 10,000 square foot store on Main Street South.

WOODBURY, CT — The town's Inland Wetlands Agency Monday turned down an application to build a Dollar General store at 614 Main Street South in Woodbury, citing concerns over a lack of information from the developer, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.
The project's developer, Gary Eucalitto of Sound Garrett Woodbury, did not provide enough information to satisfy the agency's concerns over potential environmental impact on nearby wetlands, among other issues. The project would be built on site near a former town dump.
An attorney for the developer told the publication that they do not believe the agency's decision to deny the application is correct.
