Decision Reached on Region 14, Region 15 Public Schools

Region 14 schools and offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 2. All school activities are cancelled as well.

The Region 15 Public Schools, which consists of Southbury and Middlebury, will be closed Monday as a major winter storm is expected to dump between 8-13 inches of snow and ice.

After a quiet start to the winter, it’s certainly turned interesting after a major winter storm last week dropped between a foot and two feet of snow on the state.

The heaviest precipitation is forecast for early Monday and will continue into Monday evening.
