Deck Your House and Win $100,000 for Region 14 Or Region 15 Public Schools

A $100,000 gift to Region 14 or Region 15 school districts can buy a lot of colored pencils: approximately 161,856.

Here's a list of other items, upgrades or positions that can be obtained for $100,000.

• Approximately 100,000 computers, depending on the computer
• Upgrades to auditoriums
• Approximately two teaching positions, including benefits
• A significant amount of art supplies or other classroom equipment

Region 14 and Region 15 school districts have the opportunity to win a $100,000 gift.

Patch.com is launching a nationwide contest to find the best dressed home in its Patch communities, and the winner’s school district will receive $100,000, no strings attached.

Here’s how the contest works. You can nominate your home by uploading a photo to the contest entry form on the site. The deadline is Monday, Dec. 26.

During that same time period, you and your neighbors will also be able to vote for your favorite festive home.

The winning entry will be forwarded to a national Patch judge that will select 24 finalists. Each finalist will receive $500 that they can apply to their December electric bill.

From Friday, Dec. 30, through Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, you can vote for the Best Decked House in all of Patch. The grand prize winner’s school district will receive a $100,000 check from Patch.

So, get out your lights, your ladders ... and your competitive spirit! Whether your style is sophisticated or silly, we want you to dress up your house in the name of good cheer and your kids.

At the very least, Middlebury and Woodbury will be decked out like it’s never been before. And if we win, what better gift could we give to Region 14 or Region 15 kids?
