Discounted tickets available for monumental Verdi concert

The CT Choral Society (CCS), NJ Choral Society (NJCS), Naugatuck Valley Community College Choir and the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra (WSO) will present Verdi’s Requiem on 4/25 (8 pm) and 4/26 (3 pm) at the Naugatuck Valley Community College Fine Arts Center, Waterbury.

WSO Music Director Leif Bjaland describes the Requiem as “… one of classical music’s peak experiences. The combination of chorus, orchestra and operatic soloists makes Verdi’s Requiem one of the most thrilling and memorable in the whole symphonic repertoire.” CCS/NJCS director Eric Knapp agrees: “This is a work of earth-shaking intensity!
