Earth Day Spring Cleaning Clothing Drive

The Nonnewaug Class of 2017 needs your used clothing and textiles to help make GradNite a success!

This Earth Day, a Spring Cleaning Clothing drive fundraiser to support Nonnewaug High School GradNite is planned for Saturday, April 22 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Nonnewaug High School, 5 Minortown Road, Woodbury.

Accepted are clothing, shoes, towels, sheets, curtains, blankets, quilts, comforters, purses, belts, rugs, tablecloths and similar items. Also accepted are pots, pans, toys, stuffed animals and outdoor bicycles of any size (not accepted are appliances, electronics, books, VCR tapes, CD's, car-seats, exercise equipment, outdoor playsets).

All items will be recycled or reused in some way. It's a way to keep goods out of landfills while raising money for a safe and sober GradNite celebration.
