Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust in Woodbury has opened registration for their fall programs for children, from ages 5 to 10. Located at 5 Church Hill Road, Flanders offers environmentally-based educational programs for children conducted on its 200-acre campus of forest, field and farm , with active involvement in the natural world. Flanders offers after-school enrichment programs for students ages 5 to 10 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, beginning on September 7. Held on Wednesdays from September 7 to November 30, "Art Adventures" sessions allow students to express their own visions of Flanders' autumn in a variety of media. Monthly program fees are $144 for members and $207 for nonmembers. Extended care until 6 pm is offered for an additional fee.Bus transportation to any of the programs is available from Bethlehem Elementary School. Flanders' staff advises that students dress appropriately for the weather outdoors and bring a healthy snack. For more information or to register, call (203) 263-3711.
