Too Much Stress and Tension?    Try Yoga to Relax Body, Mind and Spirit

 Come to Woodbury Public Library on Saturday May 14th from 3 – 4 p.m.  In this Introduction to Yoga and Meditation, Janaki Pierson offers gentle neck, shoulder, chest and lower back stretches to reduce tension, a breathing technique to calm and control emotions, and Meditation for reducing stress, anxiety and high blood pressure. Further long term mental and physical health benefits of these practices will be discussed.

 Janaki Pierson is co-founder and director of the Woodbury Yoga Center, now in its 28th year of providing instruction in yoga and meditation to our community.  She has been teaching throughout New England, New York, and Pennsylvania for over 30 years.
