That will follow an executive session that will take place before the regularly scheduled meeting. It is also noted in the agenda that the executive session is permitted for purposes of "discussion regarding attorney-client privileged written communication" and "discussion regarding status of Superintendent search and appointment of Superintendent of Schools."
School officials added that the heads of the school system's bargaining units (custodians, teachers, etc.) were also invited to Monday's 7:30 p.m. meeting, an indication that a new superintendent will be named at that time.

Current interim superintendent Gregory Little was hired earlier this year to replace departing superintendent Robert Cronin. Cronin was originally hired from the Naugatuck school system for his expertise in school reconfiguration. But after a legal battle with a a group of parents, Cronin's reconfiguration plans were overturned in court and Cronin left to become head of schools in North Branford in February.
Region 14 has been paying interim superintendent Gregory Little $800 a day to lead Woodbury and Bethlehem's four schools since then.
