Local artist Eileen Norkun Originals will be a featured seller at the September 17 and 18 Arts Festival in Newtown, Connecticut, as part of the juried artist market. She joins artists and artisans from throughout New England who demonstrate works of high quality and interest. Norkun creates unique vintage jewelry, redesigned from costume pins and earrings.

The fifth annual Newtown Art's Festival, which includes many local concerts and performances during the month of September, culminates with the September 17-18 outdoor event with 75 artisans and food booths, live music, arts activities, dance performances, puppetry, graffiti art, and a wine and beer garden. The location is Fairfield Hills, Exit 11 of I84. Admission is $5 per person at the gate, $3 for children 6-12 and children under 6 are free. For more information, http://www.newtownartsfestival.com.
