Distinguished memory care expert Peter V. Rabins, MD, MDH of The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine recently presented a lecture on memory loss at The Watermark at East Hill in Southbury.
More than 100 people attended the event, during which Dr. Rabins discussed the effects of memory loss associated with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease versus other age-related changed to memory. He also talked about effective non-drug treatments to combat symptoms of memory loss, as well as preventative measures to help potentially slow the effects of the disease.
