Middlebury Police Arrest Suspect in Pair of Burglaries: Report
He is also accused of committing similar break-ins in other Connecticut communities.

MIDDLEBURY, CT — A man suspected of burglaries in Shelton and other Connecticut communities was arrested by Middlebury police this week in connection with break-ins in town.
Middlebury police had issued a warrant for the arrest of Steven Carloto, 48, back in late August, and were able to arrest him on Sept. 22 after he had been apprehended by Stratford police, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.
Carloto is suspected of breaking into the Best Yogurt and Dez Mobil gas station in Middlebury. He was charged with fifth-degree Larceny, third-degree Burglary, and second-degree Criminal Mischief. He was held in lieu of a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 14.
