Mitchell's Mosaic Unveiled: What Students Love About Woodbury

Those sketches were then shared with artists Joanne and Bruce Hunter from The Art Spot in Danbury, who incorporated recurring ideas into the design of the mural.

Parents, teachers, staff and members of the community worked on the project, which was sponsored by the MES PTO Arts and Enrichment Committee.
Work began on Thursday, Nov. 17, but the design of the mural began in October, when students contemplated the concept of community with the help of art teachers Cathy Russell-Patnaude and Laura Lasker.
The project was made possible by donations from parents, families and community businesses.
