This Friday, 5/2 at 6:30 PM at the Bent of the River Audubon Center, join Audubon staff members for a search of one of the loudest yet smallest amphibian, the spring peeper. We will also be on the lookout for any and all amphibians along the way to weasel swamp- a vernal pool located high on our ridge. Learn about the importance of vernal pools for the survival of many species. Dress for the weather. Rain postpones. Be prepared for a moderately strenuous hike. Bring a flashlight (adults only). This is a very popular program and registration is limited. Cost is free for members of Audubon and $5 for non-members. To register, email Jim Drennan at jdrennan@audubon.org or call (203)264-5098
