Swirly lollipops and baskets filled with sugary sweets are tempting treats. The shop even offers sugar-free candy and also sells a variety of fudge.
Everything Comes Full Circle
In the 1980s and '90s, Williams owned Woodbury Floral Shop in Sherman Village. In the years after that, he was in the floral field but worked in other fields, like construction.
"Floral design just stuck with me," he said. "I like the creativity aspect of it."
Gorey worked in the flower field too but also taught English literature.
When Gorey and Williams met, they were both working at the same floral shop in New York.
"He told me he had owned his own business and I was interested in floral design," said Gorey, who mainly conducted customer service and flower prep tasks in the New York floral shop, but wanted to do more.
"She wanted to learn the other side, the design side, and we just started talking," said Williams.
He said he thought about opening a shop in New York.
"Then I thought, 'Let me bring it back to where I'm from'," said Williams.
Gorey and Williams both have an obvious passion for flowers.
"I love flowers," said Gorey. "I always used to garden with my mom."
Her favorite flowers are hydrangeas. Williams loves working with roses.
"The more roses used, the better," he said. "Probably because it's my birth flower."
Williams' history with flowers began when he was 17-years old.
"I started out delivering flowers in Danbury," he said. "Then I got into prepping the flowers and doing deliveries."
Prepping flowers led to creating the foundation of floral arrangements which led to floral designing.
His work in construction helped him out with the new shop. He redid much of the shop, including the walls and flooring.

The happiness is reflected in Gorey and Williams too. Gorey loves working in the shop and it shows.
Williams said he finds it rewarding to see the smile on his business partner's face.
"He always says I'm beaming and I have been," said Gorey.
