The Smile Spot Children’s Dentistry will be hosting a free
introductory class from the presenters of Positive Discipline.
Positive Discipline provides parents with the tools and
skills necessary to balance “firm and fair” and eliminate power struggles with
their children. This free intro course
is open to the community and will take place at The Smile Spot Children’s
Dentistry, 250 Main Street South in Southbury from 6:30-7:30pm, on Monday June
9th. Dr. Stephen Kest will also briefly highlight
the connection between proper dental care and achieving academic success. Positive Discipline’s hands-on classes teach
parents to help children develop self-discipline, responsibility, and
real-world problem solving skills.
