Region 14 Has Two Hour Delay

According to the Region 14 School District website, ctreg14.org, all Region 14 Schools will have a 2-hour delay today due to overnight inclement weather. There will be no A.M. Preschool today.

The announcement was made on the Region 14 website at 5:27 a.m.

The Region 15 school district will be running on the regular schedule and does not have a delay this morning.

Traffic.com is also reporting a large volume of traffic on I-84 East through Southbury and Middlebury into the Waterbury area. There are reports of heavy backups at some points, ecspecially between exits 15 and 16. This report came at 6:34 a.m.
