Region 15 Teacher of the Year Named

Region 15’s Teacher of the Year as selected by his peers is Brian Jehning, 32, who teaches science at Pomperaug High School, reports the Republican-American.

He was cited for his dedication inside and outside of the classroom. Jehning teaches at the Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

He is also a site director for athletic events, announces football games, and started the Pomperaug Ugly Holiday Sweater Fundraiser, which has special needs make sweaters with the help of juniors and seniors reports the Rep-Am.

Jehning’s been a teacher at the school for 7 years.
