Snow and Sleet in the Forecast

The start of another week in winter brings weather warnings for another bout of snow.

The National Weather Service is calling for a 20 percent chance of light snow tonight - Monday, Jan. 30 - after 10 p.m. in Middlebury and after 1 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, in Woodbury.

The temperature at night is estimated to be 25° F. A total nighttime snow accumulation of less than half an inch is possible.

On Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service notes a 20 percent chance of snow and sleet before 10 a.m. The mostly cloudy skies will gradually become sunnier, and the projected temperature is a high near 48° F.
