Some Main Street Improvement Projects Met with Resistance in Woodbury
A couple of suggestions by the Sustainable Design Assessment Team are facing headwinds.

WOODBURY, CT — Burying power lines underground on Main Street in Woodbury, and narrowing the roadway to reduce traffic, are two suggestions by the town's Sustainable Design Assessment Team that reportedly are meeting with some resistance.
First Selectman William Butterly, realizing that a number of residents do not support the ideas, wrote to the group to express those concerns, writes the Waterbury Republican-American.
Both moves are only a sample of the various suggestions from the group, and while not completely off-the-table, they appear to be on the back-burner for the foreseeable future.
