On Tuesday, June 24, The Watermark at East Hill will host its monthly Discovery Luncheon, a seminar on retirement living for adults ages 55 and older and their families. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the retirement community, located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury.
This month’s Discovery Luncheon will feature guest speaker Roberta Fogle, a resident at The Watermark who has lived at the community since August 2011. Fogle is a former resident of Katonah, NY where she worked as a registered nurse and a nursery school teacher. Roberta will discuss why she chose to move to The Watermark, and will be available to answer questions about her own experience moving to the community.
“As we get older and begin seeking out different living arrangements, it can become overwhelming to explore all of the options available,” said Connie Haworth, Executive Director of The Watermark at East Hill. “Our monthly Discovery Luncheons are a great way for people to explore our community, engage with residents and receive valuable, first-hand information.”

Seminar attendees are invited to stay for lunch prepared by The Watermark’s chef, and can also arrange for a tour of the community.
