The 2012-13 Region 15 Budget, at $60,251,578, was approved by Middlebury and Southbury voters tonight, at the Wednesday, May 2, referendum.
The now approved budget features no increase over the 2011-12 approved budget.
Middlebury's Numbers
- Yes: 515
- No: 445
- Total Voted: 960
- Total Voters on the List: 5,132
- Voter turnout: 18.7 percent
Southbury's Numbers
- Yes: 1,897
- No: 468
- Total Voted: 2,365
- Voter Turnout: Nearly 18 percent

Southbury poll moderator Fay Deforest said she was pleased with the turnout.
“It was really beyond what I was expecting,” said Deforest. “There was a heavy stream of people all day, everyone was very enthusiastic, it was wonderful to see.”
