Woodbury’s Kocian Depasqua Antiques Set for Grand Reopening
Kocian Depasqua Antiques will be hosting a grand reopening to celebrate their expansion of their Woodbury gallery
On the weekend of April 30th Kocian DePasqua American Antiques & Folk Art will be celebrating a Grand Re-Opening at their Woodbury gallery located at 487 Main Street, South.
The shop relocated from its Westport location to Woodbury in 2009. They have since expanded the gallery to include two additional rooms in the front portion of the main house. The shop is situated in the historic Hezekiah Thompson house, built in 1760. There will be four beautifully decorated gallery room settings to peruse.
The shop deals in fine antiques and folk art. Currently in inventory are Pilgrim century through Federal period American furniture, several tall case clocks, along with folk art to include weathervanes, game boards, art, and various eclectic objects of interest.
“Woodbury is a wonderful small town that is chock full of history and New England charm” says Meg Kocian, who owns the shop along with her husband, Frank DePasqua who adds “not to mention that it is widely known as the Antiques Capital of Connecticut.” You can easily enjoy an entire day leisurely browsing through the 30 plus individually owned antique shops along a six mile stretch along Route 6 just off exit 15 from I-84.
The Grand Re-Opening Weekend Celebration will take place on Saturday, April 30th and Sunday, May 1st between the times of 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 487 Main Street, S., Woodbury. Champagne, wine and hors D’oeuvres will be served throughout the day. The event is free and open to the public.
