Winners: Readers' Choice for Buying Plants and Flowers

This week's not only proved that spring is on everyone's minds with more than 100 votes being tallied, but also that there are plenty of great places in town to get your plants and flowers.

For plants, voters supported with nine percent of the vote and a five star rating.

was the voters' favorite for flowers, garnering 56 percent of the vote. had a strong standing, with 22 percent of the vote.

The comments showed that those with a green thumb spread their love to the different businesses in town. Here's a sampling: 

said: "I love Young's, they have everything."

said: "The new place in Woodbury, Petal Perfections & Confections, is great. I go there all the time to pick up a flower at a time for somebody or to get bouquets — they do an awesome job and they have a great variety of gorgeous fresh flowers. They sell candy too nom nom."
