• Farmers, community call for safety training after Bridgeville grain bin death (newsfromthestates.com) — A recent fatal grain bin accident at Evans Farm in Bridgeville has shaken local farmers and prompted renewed calls for stronger safety training around grain storage. First responders rescued one young Bridgeville worker, but a 66-year-old man died, leading farm leaders to push for more frequent safety events and better awareness of grain bin rescue tools across Sussex County and the Delmarva region. Residents have been flocking to the farm’s market and ice cream stand to show support.
