DSP Investigates Knifepoint Sexual Assault in Dover (wmdt.com) — Delaware State Police are investigating a knifepoint sexual assault that happened Tuesday morning at a construction site in Dover's Nobles Pond community, near Pearsons Corner and Seven Hickories Roads. A masked white male suspect threatened a male worker with a knife, then fled into nearby woods, and detectives are urging anyone with information to contact them or Delaware Crime Stoppers.
   

3. 4. Check on the Welfare Leads to Drug and DUI Arrest (smyrnapolice.com) — Smyrna police say a welfare check led to the arrest of a 45‑year‑old woman from Dover after officers allegedly found drugs, paraphernalia, and a concealed weapon in her vehicle. She faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges and was jailed on secured bail, with all charges still needing to be proven in court.
   

5. The Home Library Project bolsters child literacy through book ownership (wmdt.com) — A new push to boost kids' literacy is reaching Dover, where The Home Library Project teamed up with the Dover YMCA and United Way of Delaware to give campers free books. The nonprofit aims to help children, especially from low-income households, build home libraries and is seeking local volunteers and donations to expand its work.
