Toddler Tuesdays at Kalmar Nyckel Foundation

Set sail on a morning of discovery with Toddler Tuesdays, a fun and engaging early childhood learning program offered throughout the summer by the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation. Designed especially for children ages 18 months to 5 years, each one-hour session introduces young learners to the wonders of the world around them through hands-on exploration, stories, music, crafts, movement, and play.

Programs are held inside the Copeland Maritime Center and are led by one of our dedicated educators with experience in early childhood education. Every session is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and support early learning in a warm and welcoming environment.

This week's program explores the fascinating world of plants! Children will discover how seeds germinate and grow, then plant their own seed in a small terra-cotta pot to take home and nurture. The session also includes stories, songs, a themed craft, and a snack. Participation is limited to 10 toddlers per session to ensure a high-quality, personalized experience. Sibling are welcome to join!
