• Man allegedly threatened 4 people with a gun at Wilmington, Delaware shopping center (6abc.com) — Police say a man threatened four people with a gun at Chestnut Run Shopping Center on Faulkland Road in Wilmington Sunday evening, but no one was hurt. Officers later arrested a 37-year-old convicted felon nearby and recovered a loaded handgun, leading to multiple aggravated menacing, terroristic threatening, and firearms charges with substantial cash bail.
   

• Who was Hannah Kleitz? Remains found in Delaware 15 years ago identified as woman who died in 1907 (cbsnews.com) — Fifteen years after skeletal remains were discovered in Sellers Park in Wilmington, investigators have confirmed they belong to Hannah Graham Kleitz, a woman buried in Riverview Cemetery whose mausoleum was desecrated in 2002. Using genealogy, DNA testing, and a facial reconstruction, New Castle County police finally reunited her remains with family at the cemetery, though the grave robbery remains unsolved.
   

• St. Francis Hospital school of nursing alums celebrate memories of school days in Wilmington: 'It was a great community' (thedialog.org) — Former students of the Saint Francis Hospital School of Nursing are organizing a special reunion in Wilmington on October 18 at Ed Oliver Golf Club to mark the program's centennial and 50 years since its last graduating class. Alumni are sharing memories of living and training in Wilmington and are planning a permanent display at the hospital, with organizers inviting interest and donations.
