Monstera and Ivy are about 9 months old and came to HAP (Human Animal Partners) when they were found as strays. Monstera has a luxurious black coat, while Ivy is a vibrant torti. This precious pair had a tough start to life, battling with upper respiratory infections and fleas. Now they are healed and ready for a family to call their own. As they were not super socialized to people when they arrived, they are still in the process of learning to trust their human friends. Monstera is shy boy, who loves the company of other cats, but is still getting used to people. Ivy is the more outgoing sibling, she will come up and investigate any newcomers. After being moved into a free roaming room, where they have other feline friends, they are becoming much more comfortable and social!
When it comes to playing, Ivy can't get enough! She loves interactive toys, self play, and wand toys. Monstera enjoys playing with his sibling or interactive toys best. Ivy loves to cuddle with other kitties or sprawl out to sunbathe. Monstera enjoys spending time curled up in a hideaway hole, but also spends time out and about with the other cats in his room. While Ivy can be more of the attention seeker, Monstera prefers to come out and sniff us while watching us give pets to some of his friends. While we hope they can be adopted together, both cats would need a home with other feline friends to show them the ropes!
Monstera and Ivy are available at HAP Wilmington! If interested in adopting, click the link humaneanimalpartners.org/adopt to learn more!
