Georgetown Drybar Re-Opened Sunday, Offering Discounts
The salon had not filed appropriate paperwork to operate a business in the District.

Drybar re-opened its Georgetown location, 1825 Wisconsin Ave., NW, Sunday, more than a week after the DC government compelled the salon to close for not having a business license.
The blowdry-only salon was closed Aug. 16 until the owners secured a certificate of occupancy and business license.
Despite having opened last October, Drybar never applied for a certificate of occupancy or a business license, according to Helder Gil, a spokesman for the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs.
As an apology and thank you to customers, Drybar is offering a 50% discount off blowouts through Aug. 28.
