Wine Tasting: V-Day Edition

Head over to Via Umbria on 1525 Wisconsin Ave. NW for a Valentine's Day wine tasting Feb. 8. Each couple will get to sample eight different glasses of white and red wine, and each glass will be paired with a small bite to eat. Buy tickets here for $25 each.
Get Love or Bust Pop-Up Shop

Poppir is hosting a V-Day pop-up shop at Kit and Ace (3263 M St. NW) from 12-5 p.m. Feb. 11. There will be a live DJ, beverages and local brands selling their best Valentine's Day picks. Each participating small business will offer a Valentine's gift, and the featured host of the event, Urban Jungle, will give away a free succulent plant for each person who registers and attends the pop-up shop.
Cupid is Stupid
Want to dance all night and forget about this holiday? Head over to Old Glory BBQ at 10 p,m. Feb. 11 to enjoy a DJ, dancing and drink specials until the bar closes. Find the fun at 3139 M St. NW.
Cooking Class for Couples: Baci Chocolates
Via Umbria is holding cooking classes for couples to learn how to make Baci, which are Italian chocolates. Join them at 5 p.m. Feb. 12.
