Weekend Metro Schedule: Jan. 5 - 6

If you're taking the Metro this weekend, you might want to get to the station early and plan accordingly.

WASHINGTON, DC — There's plenty to see in the D.C. metro area this weekend — including a donut and wine pairing event, a Justin Timberlake concert, "A Special Anniversary" at Mount Vernon, and POP Georgetown.

If you're thinking of taking the Metro on Saturday, Jan. 5 or Sunday, Jan. 6, you might want to get to the station early. Service changes may cause some delays. Here's everything you need to know before heading out for the weekend:

Blue Line trains will run every 20 minutes and single-track between Pentagon City and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Yellow Line trains will operate every 20 minutes between Huntington and Mt. Vernon Square. From 10 p.m. until close, trains will run every 20 minutes between Huntington and Fort Totten. Lastly, trains will single-track between Pentagon City and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

Green, Silver, Red, and Orange line trains will operate on a regular weekend schedule.
