13-Year-Old DC Boy Arrested For Assault With Gun: Police

DC Police Officers arrested a 13-year-old boy for striking a victim in the back of the head with a gun, police said.

WASHINGTON, DC — A 13-year-old male was arrested Thursday for assault with a dangerous weapon, police said.

On the evening of May 25, the juvenile suspect allegedly approached a victim from behind and struck him in the back of the head with a gun in the 5000 block of Just Street, NE., police said.

When the victim turned around to confront the boy, the boy brandished the firearm then fled the scene, police told Patch.

The juvenile was arrested June 8 and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
