2 Arrested In Friday Night Knife Assault In Penn Quarter
Metropolitan Police Department officers charged two individuals in connection with an altercation that occurred Friday in Penn Quarter.
WASHINGTON, DC -- Metropolitan Police Department detectives arrested two suspects in connection with an assault with a knife offense that took place Friday night in Penn Quarter, according to a police report.
On Jan. 24, around 9:50 p.m., the suspects and victims were involved in a physical altercation in the 800 block of 7th Street, N.W. During the fight, one of the suspects tried to cut the victim with a knife. The suspects fled the scene.
Police arrested Raheem Steven Sills, 25, of Palmer Park, Maryland, Friday and charged him with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife). Officers also arrested Dionna Ariel Prince, 18, of no fixed address, and charged them with Simple Assault.
