2 Shot, 1 Killed In Mayfair Shooting: DC Police

WASHINGTON, DC — Homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday night in Mayfair, according to a police release. Police identified the deceased victim as Brandon Rose, 28, of Southeast.

Members of the Seventh District responded around 10:54 p.m., for the report of a shooting in the 800 block of Kenilworth Terrace, N.E. Officers found Rose and an adult woman outside the residence suffering from gunshot wounds. D.C. Fire and EMS determined Rose showed no signs consistent with life and transported him later to the Office of the Chief Medical examiner. FEMS also transported the woman to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
