Arlington Police Investigate 2 Monday Night Burglaries
Arlington County Police are investigating two burglaries that took place Monday night in the Lyon Park and Shirlington areas.
ARLINGTON, VA -- The Arlington County Police Department is investigating two burglaries on Monday in the Lyon Park and the Shirlington areas of the county, according to the ACPD crime report.
On Jan. 6, at about 8:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Washington Boulevard to the report of "suspicious circumstances." Arriving on the scene, officers determined that multiple suspects forced entry into a business at about 8:07 p.m. Although the suspects rummaged through items, nothing was reported stolen. The crime report describes the suspects as black males who were wearing black hoodies with their hoods up. The also wore khaki pants, gloves, and dark shoes.
Police were also dispatched around 8:45 p.m. to the report of a burglary in progress in the 4700 block of King Street. When the officers arrived on the scene, they learned multiple suspects had exited a vehicle, forced entry into a business, and them they rummaged through items.

According to the crime report, the suspects stole four vehicles and damaged another as they were leaving the property. The suspects were wearing dark clothing and jeans. One suspect covered their face. ACPD is continuing its investigation of this case.
