Armed Robbery Suspect, Car Caught On Surveillance Video: Police
D.C. police detectives released surveillance video and photos of the person and car wanted in Sunday's armed robbery in Penn Quarter.
WASHINGTON, DC — D.C. police detectives released a video and photos of one of the suspects and a car involved in Sunday night's armed robbery in Penn Quarter, according to a police release.
Around 9:33 p.m., a suspect approached the victims in the 900 block of G Street, Northwest, pointed a gun and demand their property. After the victims handed over their items, the suspect left the area in a car being operated by a second suspect, according to police.
Metropolitan Police Department detectives released a surveillance video and photos on Wednesday of the suspect who had taken the money from the victims and the car in which the two suspects escaped.

Police ask anyone with information about the suspects or the car seen leaving the scene of Sunday night's armed robbery to call 202-727-9099 or text a tip to MPD's to TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for a violent crime in the District.
