National Geographic Hosts The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival At Its DC HQ
National Geographic is hosting the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour at its D.C. headquarters April 4-9.
WASHINGTON, DC — Movie lovers will be able to enjoy more than 20 short films shot at some of the most stunning locations across the world, as the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour returns to the District on Monday.
National Geographic is hosting the event from 7-9:30 p.m., on April 4-9 at its headquarters at 1600 M St., Northwest in Washington, D.C. Tickets are $35 per day of the festival and are available for purchase online.
The festival highlights the work of more than 20 filmmakers. More details about the films can be found on the National Geographic Live website.

Visitors to the festival will also receive free access to the National Geographic Museum by showing they festival tickets during normal hours until May 1. This will give them a chance to explore the museum's latest exhibit Once Upon a Climb: Stories From Everest.
