Tenleytown’s City Ridge development is home to Washington, DC’s newest Bank of America financial center, at 1 Ridge Square, NW. The sleek new facility offers clients high-tech and high-touch solutions including access the bank’s local and nationwide networks of financial professionals to meet their banking, borrowing, and investment needs.
The Ridge City financial center brings the bank to nearly 140 locations across the Greater Washington, DC region. This opening further delivers on the bank’s mission to bring retail, banking, lending, and small business services to local clients, along with investing and personalized financial guidance from Merrill with support from over 2,400 employees regionally.
Washington, DC clients also have access to Bank of America’s industry-leading digital services, including virtual financial assistant Erica, financial planning tool Life Plan®, and the Zelle money transfer network. Nearly 1.3 million clients in Greater Washington, DC use Bank of America’s digital services to better access their finances.

Bank of America is well on its way to delivering on its promise of increasing its hourly minimum wage to $25 by 2025. The company also subsidizes approximately 75% of employee health care costs, which means capital area employees will be eligible for the company’s benefits that have an average value of almost $17,000. The firm also offers matching 401(k) contributions of up to 5%, and an annual company contribution of up to 2% of pay after one year with the company.
