Boyfriend Charged In Death Of Missing Northwest Woman
Homicide detectives charged a Southeast man with second degree murder Thursday night in connection with the death of his girlfriend.

WASHINGTON, DC — Homicide detectives arrested a Southeast man late Thursday night in connection with the death of his girlfriend Olgo Ooro, 34, who was reported missing on July 16, according to a post on the Metropolitan Police Department's official Twitter account.
Ooro was last seen on the evening of July 16, in the 300 block of Massachusetts Ave., N.W. She had just returned home from dinner with her 7-year-old son and boyfriend, Darnell Sterling 55, of Southeast, according to MPD Chief Newsham in a press briefing Thursday.
Ooro was killed early in the morning on July 17, according to a police release, and her remains were removed from the scene. They have not been located.

On Thursday night, detectives arrested Sterling and charged him with second degree murder in connection with Ooro's disappearance.
