DC Blaze Under Control, No Hazardous Chemicals: Report
Units responding to a fire at a building in Northeast were initially concerned about "possible hazardous chemicals."

UPDATE 12:10 p.m.: The blaze is under control, and no hazardous chemicals appear to have been involved, D.C. Fire and EMS says.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Firefighters are responding to a fire at a commercial building in Northeast that may be storing hazardous chemicals.

The fire is located in the 1900 block of Capitol Avenue NE near Gallaudet University, D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted at 11:17 a.m.
"Possible hazardous chemicals stored within," the tweet notes.
