Burglaries At 2 Penn Quarter Businesses: Police Seek Suspect
D.C. Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect in two early morning burglaries in Penn Quarter.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the First District are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect in two burglaries that took place in Penn Quarter Friday, according to a police release.
On Friday, March 6, around 5 a.m., a suspect forcibly entered a business in the 700 block of 7th Street, N.W. The suspect took money and property from the business and then fled the scene.

On Friday, March 6, around 5:04 a.m., the suspect forcibly entered a business in the 600 block of H Street, N.W. After taking money and property from the business, the suspect fled the scene.
MPD released photos of the suspect that were captured on a nearby surveillance.

Police ask anyone with information about the identity of the suspect in the photos or the two burglaries to call 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411.
