This November 1, experience Día de los Muertos at The Wharf during a vibrant celebration in partnership with the Mexican Cultural Institute, Fiesta DC and Modelo.

Join us for a festive afternoon filled with cultural expression and family-friendly fun. Guests will enjoy live music from the Latin Celtic band La Unica, dance performances, a Modelo beer garden, and interactive stations including face painting and sugar skull decorating. Dress the part in your most colorful and authentic ensemble, snap a photo with our life-sized sugar skull display and explore beautiful, hand-crafted altars that pay tribute to lost loved ones.

Don’t miss vibrant cultural performances featuring De Colores, Ballet Folklorico El Tepeyac and Fundación Elena.

As the sun sets, help light up the night during our community light procession along the waterfront. Starting at M Street Landing (near Hell’s Kitchen) and ending at the Grove (near The Pendry), guests will receive LED candles to carry in a glowing tribute to life and remembrance.
