
Visit an exhibit of 81 portraits of key players in the 1972 break-in and cover up, the Nixon administration, and the 1970's, all in one spot in the Watergate Complex, located in Foggy Bottom. See paintings including Mark Felt, known during the scandal as “Deep Throat”, Jane Fonda, who was named on Nixon’s enemy list, and Frank Willis, the security guard who discovered the break-in, foiled the June 17, 1972, break-in, and started it all. Painted by New York based artist Laurie Munn, this is only the third time that all of the portraits have been exhibited together.
Through April 25, 2026. Hours are Tuesdays: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm; Wednesdays: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm; Thursdays: 10:00 – 2:00 pm; and Saturdays: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Additional viewings can be made available by advance appointment. Group tours (no larger than 28) can also be pre-arranged.
