DC Firefighters Reunite With Mom Who Gave Birth At Firehouse
Firefighters with Washington, D.C.'s Engine 18 met four-day-old Princess Evans, whom they delivered on the firehouse office floor Monday.

WASHINGTON, DC — Four-day-old Princess Evans had a chance Friday to meet the people who helped bring her into this world — the firefighters at Washington, D.C.’s Engine 18. Princess was born inside the firehouse near D.C.'s Eastern Market after her mother, Ashley Littles, realized on the bus she was about to deliver.
Littles said they had just boarded a bus heading to George Washington University Hospital when she realized she was going to give birth, WJLA reported. It was the bus driver’s idea to head for the firehouse, she said.

"It's one of the coolest calls you can go on," Tidaback said earlier this week. "A lot of times when we're running calls, it's the worst day of somebody's life, but when you're delivering a baby, it's the best day of your life. It's a good change for us."
Engine 18 was also visited by Princess’ dad, Larry Evans, and her big brother, Kyyng, 2.
