DC Firefighters Tackle Huge Blaze In Southeast (Photos)
A roaring inferno was brought under control "within minutes."

WASHINGTON, DC -- D.C. firefighters had their hands full with towering flames at a rowhome in Southeast Thursday morning, but they were able to bring it under control quickly.
Firefighters arrived in the 700 block of 51st Street SE to find a roaring inferno, photos of which are embedded below.
Within minutes, the fire was extinguished, D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted.
