DC Health Rolls Out New Dashboard To Share Reopening Metrics
D.C. Department of Health introduced a new online dashboard to share the District's progress through its phased reopening.
WASHINGTON, DC — D.C. Department of Health rolled out a new dashboard Wednesday explaining the metrics health officials would be using to determine if the District is ready to enter the next phase of the city's reopening.
D.C. is currently in Phase One of its reopening and Mayor Muriel Bowser confirmed that June 19 is the earliest the District could enter Phase Two based on current metrics.
"We will be monitoring data very closely, and we believe in the coming days we will also have a sense of the impacts of moving into Phase One and what impact that has had on our experience with the virus," the mayor said, during a Wednesday morning situational update on the city's response to COVID-19, the illness associated with the new coronavirus.
