DC Man Faces Assault Charge In Stabbing Incident: Police Report
Metropolitan Police Department detectives arrested a Northeast man in connection with a stabbing that occurred near Judiciary Square.
WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives arrested Donte Phison, 28, of Northeast, in connection with a stabbing that occurred Nov. 20 near Judiciary Square, according to a police release.
Police say that around 6:01 p.m., the Phison and victim were engaged in a verbal dispute in the 400 block of 2nd Street, Northwest, when the Phison produced a knife and stabbed the victim. He then fled the scene. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
On Tuesday, MPD arrested Phison and charged him with assault with a dangerous weapon (knife).
